Art Docent

Foulks Ranch PTO is proud to be one of the few schools in the District with a dedicated Art Docent curriculum. 

Art Docents, who are volunteer parents, manage supplies and needs related to the program. Through the cooperation of teachers, Art Docents schedule time in each classroom to educate children about art by making art. There have been numerous studies showing how the education art helps promotes self-directed learning, improves school attendance and sharpens critical and creative skills.
