Heritage Celebration Night

Please join us for our Heritage Celebration Night. Come share and enjoy food, crafts, traditions and attire from cultures around the world. We have a very diverse group of kids and families and want to share with the community what it means to be different and yet so much the same.

The event will take place in the quad area, with a fashion show, cultural dances/songs with food bites and booth displays.

How to Help

We’re asking for samplings of food, dress/(cultural attire), arts/crafts, song/dance, or anything else that you might want to share. Help with booth displays and setup/cleanup will also be needed.

For food please bring finger foods or a dish that can be broken into small cups and doesn’t need to be kept warm/heated after its been cooked. 

If anyone has any cultural attire that they would like to lend/donate to our kids or demonstrate themselves, we’d like to do a simple fashion show and excerpt/description of the clothing and its meaning.

For those of you that would like to donate your time, but don’t have any wearable’s or aren’t so blessed in the kitchen, we would love to have you help with creating booth displays or cultural arts and crafts during the event.
